“The Appian Way is beautiful. The bikes we rented were perfectly serviceable. We asked for helmets (they were available but not offered at first). They may or may not have been cleaned between uses. The road is crazy bumpy in spots - be ready for that! Also - make sure to arrange your return transportation…”
